VERSATILE PLAY-BY-PLAY BROADCASTER AND MULTIMEDIA STORYTELLER

ABOUT CODY

My name is Cody Chrusciel and I would like to welcome you to my website, which offers up-to-date samples of my work. My passion is sports storytelling, and I have over a decade of professional experience in television and radio play-by-play, studio hosting, live broadcast and creative video production, and design.

Currently, I handle play-by-play for Princeton University football and men's lacrosse on the Princeton Learfield IMG College Sports Network, ESPN+, NBC Sports Philadelphia, and SNY while overseeing multimedia and broadcasting for Princeton's 37-sport athletic department.

Previously, I served as Director of Broadcasting at the University of Massachusetts, where I called hockey, women's basketball, and men's lacrosse, served as sideline reporter and pregame show host for Minutemen football on the UMass Sports Network, and produced the TV show UMass Sports Insider on Comcast SportsNet New England and Fox College Sports Atlantic.

My baseball broadcasting and media relations experience includes five seasons with the Tennessee Smokies (Chicago Cubs Double-A affiliate) and New Jersey Jackals (independent Can-Am League). Additionally, I have experience both on-air and in video production with Army Athletics.

Born and raised in New Jersey, I graduated from Rowan University in Glassboro, N.J. in May 2009 with dual degrees in radio/television/film and broadcast journalism before completing my master’s degree in sport management at the University of Massachusetts. I'm currently an adjunct professor at Rowan, teaching courses in studio production and foundations of media production.
